Pollyanna Wong, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in colorectal surgery at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. Pollyanna dedicates her career to providing compassionate whole-person care to patients with inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, diverticular disease, ostomies, and many more colorectal conditions. She is proficient in the surgical care of colorectal conditions, diagnostic interpretation, preventive medicine, wound/ostomy care, and assisting with minimally invasive robotic surgeries. She is a strong advocate of ostomy education and ensuring proper techniques with ostomy creation surgery to optimize the quality of life of ostomates post-operatively. Pollyanna has extensive clinical experience treating patients with complex diseases through an integrative approach. She partners with a multidisciplinary team to better the health of her patients, addressing not only their medical and surgical needs, but also their psychological, spiritual, environmental, and social limitations. Pollyanna is currently assisting in the development of an integrative surgery program with Dr. Elizabeth Raskin at Hoag.

Pollyanna graduated with a bachelor’s in business economics from the University of California Irvine. After discovering her passion in medicine, she began to pursue a lifetime career as a PA. She completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at Mills College and attained a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Chapman University. Pollyanna currently resides in Orange County. Outside of medicine, she enjoys powerlifting, baking, traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her husband, family and friends.
